To get acclimated to the time change and to celebrate a special anniversary we flew into Zurich a few days early.

 

Rick Steves guidebook suggested getting a one day pass offered at the tourist information center at the Train Station. The pass covers all Zurich public transportation, plus free admission or discounts popular tourist sites,

 

We opted for the three day pass which also paid for a portion of our train fare to Luzern.

 Two of the photos were taken from one of the two towers of Das Grossmunster, the big cathedral. The one with the people in the foreground is from the sidewalk area of Das Grossmunster. Across the bridge behind the bus in the picture is the Fraumunster church, facing us are three of the Marc Chagall Windows. Many sites were included in our three day pass. With this pass we specifically enjoyed the Fraumunster church, the Grossmunster tower, the National Museum, and our choice of one of three varying length tours of the beautiful Lake Zurich.
